News on the Farm

NOVEMBER 1, 2019

Our critters have spoke and we have listened! They say it’s going to be a long cold winter. If you have visited our little farm recently, you may have noticed a slight decrease in our critter population. That is due to the fact we have decided to close our doors on our small petting farm operation for the dreary winter months ahead. This is to bring you a BIGGER BETTER petting farm with more variety of animals for families of all ages to interact with in the spring of 2020! And spring opening means BABIES! Who doesn’t love baby farm animals? It is also with sadness and excitement that we will no longer be providing horseback trail riding experiences beyond November 1 this year. We are trying to focus on what our guests are requesting. And that is a family friendly environment full of critters to keep you entertained all day long. We are pleased to be able to continue our sleigh ride operations through the holiday season. Come and enjoy a tour around freshly groomed trails aboard a sleigh piled with straw bales to sit on, pulled by a lovely team of horses. Enjoy a bonfire as you watch the horses come in around the golf course. Check with reservations or the activity desk at deerhurst resort for specific dates and times for sleigh rides
